EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW 2022 HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK!

  
Completely redesigned like its sister the new 2022 Honda Civic, the 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback was unveiled last night and like its sister, it’s impressive in quite a few ways.
  
The most versatile version of the Civic range with its tailgate that creates a lot of cargo space, the Hatchback version is also sportier and more dynamic than the sedan version. It is designed for those who have an active lifestyle and need space, but also want to have fun behind the wheel of their everyday vehicle.
  
The new 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback adopts the styling of the new Civic sedan while the rear has been softened compared to the previous generation Hatchback. We see a little refined and European side and overall, the Civic hatchback is more elegant while retaining its sporty side. It is shorter than the sedan while being shorter than the old hatchback by around 10 cm.
  
There is a honeycomb grille at the front that further sets the model apart from the sedan. Two new colors, Boost Blue Pearl and Smoky Mauve Pearl, are added to six other shades available.
  
Like the sedan, two engines are offered, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 1.5-liter turbo. The former offers 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque while the latter offers 180 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Good news, the manual transmission will be offered on the Sport and Sport Touring versions!
  
In terms of cargo, the tailgate opening has been increased by 40mm and the tailgate itself is lighter compared to the older generation while the trunk can accommodate 24.5 cubic feet, or about 693 liters.
